Maarten Bouwhuis is a frequently requested presenter, moderator and discussion leader distinguished by his enthusiast and engaged approach, substantive focus and timely sense of humour.

BNR Nieuwsradio (BNR News Radio)
Since 2007, Maarten has been active in various roles for BNR Nieuwsradio. In 2009, he organized and presided over the first EU election debate presented on BNR. Since 2010, Maarten has become a familiar voice as a regular news anchor for BNR. Maarten’s portfolio as program presenter and host for BNR includes the BNR Klantenshow (BNR Customer Show / 2010-2014) as the only Dutch radio program on customer-focused enterprise, marketing, and communication practices, followed by BNR Opvolgers (BNR Successors / 2015 – 2016), exploring succession within family businesses, and BNR Gangmakers (BNR Trendsetters / 2015 – present), a weekly discussion and debate forum for entrepreneurs.

FD Media Group
Maarten is also a recognized presenter for FD Media Group, hosting the FD innovation competition The Challenge and regularly moderating debates on mobility, finance, and technology. He also presents the FD series Young Circle, featuring young innovators, and Gangmakers Xtra (Trendsetters Xtra). In 2013, Maarten became the official host of the annual FD Gazellen Awards, honouring the fastest growing enterprises in the Netherlands.

RTL Group
In 2010 and 2012, Maarten worked with RTL News to organize and moderate The Carre Debate on upcoming parliamentary elections. During 2013 and 2014, Maarten appeared daily on RTL Z TV as program presenter of Ondernemerszaken (Entrepreneur Affairs).

Maarten Bouwhuis studied Communications in Rotterdam with a specialization in the need for debate education. He has contributed as moderator and trainer for the Dutch Debate Institute. In 2010, he published the booklet Mag ik u Quoten (May I Quote You), offering media tips for board and council members. Maarten also blogs regularly on his website about current events and insights gained from his work.
